The Amelunxens made the decision to build the laboratory in August 2009, thanks to investment from family members.
2010
The laboratory opened its doors in May 2010. Originally designed to include a workstation, the volume of business coming to the laboratory was unprecedented.

We are a metallurgical consulting firm offering engineering, modeling, simulation, and optimization services for concentration plants, as well as laboratory services in the areas of comminution, flotation, leaching, and tailings. We always strive for complete customer satisfaction.

Our Strengths
Aminpro has been operating metallurgical plants and laboratories in Chile for over 10 years.
- We have coordinated and supervised metallurgical and geometallurgical campaigns in Chile, Peru, the United States, Canada, China, Australia, Indonesia, and South Africa, among other countries.
- We have created our own models for the design of comminution and flotation plants, offering our clients a quality product from laboratory testing to basic engineering.
We stand out for the quality and reproducibility of the metallurgical and geometallurgical tests we perform. Some examples of our work include:
- We perform error analysis based on laboratory data generation using advanced statistical algorithms to detect and correct errors.
- In flotation tests, we maintain data redundancy to perform mass balances using statistical software.
- Each report is tailored to our clients’ needs. We can include raw and reconciled results, as well as an appendix showing quality control.
Our team has been a leader in the development of many technologies in the mining industry. Some examples include:
- First column cells in operation in industrial flotation circuits in
- Cuajones (Peru) and
